Our Story
Dealing with the challenges of today requires support from all directions, mentally, physically, emotionally, and creatively. Founded in May 2020, Uncommon Creator emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the creative community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words.
We're driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of seeing value in everyone, while providing high quality resources to our community in a safe and secure environment. We are a catalyst for positive change and are driven by support, empowerment, and education.

Hello, friend! My name is Jonathan, I’m a creator and I'm uncommon. I'm gay, neurodivergent (ADHD), and blind in my left eye. I was born 3 months premature, weighing 24oz (680.4 grams) at birth, as a result, my left eye never
finished developing.
My path as a creator hasn't been easy, and I haven't let my disabilities stop me. I’m a creative director, filmmaker, photographer, and graphic designer. I founded Uncommon Creator in 2020 to foster a space of hope and positivity for sharing the stories, struggles, and works of creatives
who need support.

Hi, I'm Luke. I enjoy reading Queer history and understanding how different groups and movements have influenced each other in domestic and international Queer activism.
I'm currently listening to Eric Marcus' "Making Gay History" podcast. When not learning history, I enjoy reading and writing fiction.
